NCFU Expands Cooperation with Enterprises
NCFU and the Nevinnomyssk Steelmaking Plant have set their plans for establishing basic training departments, which means that the region’s largest university goes on pursuing the practice-oriented approach and enhancing connections with the regional employers.
In view of the above, students of the Nevinnomyssk Technological Institute will be field-placed at the partner-company.
– Establishing a new innovation-based culture in relationships takes certain time and effort from both sides, – Vladimir Kuzmenko (Director, Nevinnomyssk Technological Institute) was quoted as saying. – However, already now, given our joint resources – the teaching staff and the plant facilities – we can already start some joint research projects and arrange field placement for our students, among other activities.
Pavel Sokolov (CEO, Nevinnomyssk Steelmaking Plant) stressed that the project will promote mutually beneficial cooperation as well as will help solve the shortage of qualified staff issue.
As soon as in February already the partners will get to solving certain industrial problems and even test newly developed products in their respective labs. Other plans include launching in-service training programs and lectures.
