Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) told that the NCFU now is home to the North-Caucasus Expert & Analytics Center, which is to bring together experts in the most important areas, namely, Economics, Finance, Social and Economic Geography and Regional studies.

– The Center is in charge of data analytics and expert support to federal authorities in issues related to launching and running various infrastructure and investment projects in the region. We have developed a pool of 50 experts embracing 20 areas, and now our experts run various projects, as requested by authorities. One of the first works is the concept of developing culture & educational tourism designed within the North-Caucasus Federal District promotion strategies, – Dmitry Bespalov noted.

Another priority areas for the Center’s activities will be hosting strategic discussions, forums and conferences focusing on the most relevant issues of socio-economic progress in the North-Caucasus.
