For the first time in its history, the North-Caucasus Federal University has entered the global subject rankings RUR 2020 (Humanities, Social Sciences) earning lines 538 and 673 in the world rating, and 28 and 47 in Russia, respectively.

The ranking includes 710 leading universities from all over the world, while the Social Sciences chapter included 757.

The rating is compiled by the Russian Round University Ranking (RUR) Agency. The agency in question, jointly with the Clarivate Analytics international company, which manages databases, data systems and collections on intellectual property, develops annual global ranking of universities and subject ratings in various fields of science.

The rating is based on the analysis of teaching quality, research quality, internationalization rate and the financial stability.
