North-Caucasus federal University hosted the MediaDay – the final event in the Life Is Measured by Deeds Not Years project.

The day proved more than fun – students attended master classes delivered by the region’s most successful journalists and PR experts, with various issues in the agenda – from labor human protection to creating a TV-depiction of a working man.

The project itself is something special, with students majoring in Journalism working hard for three months, which finally brought its reward – the accolades showered on the best ones from the entire region’s agencies – Ministry for Youth Policy, Center for Youth Projects, Federation for Trade Unions & NGOs.

When speaking to the audience, Marina Kolesnikova (Director, Institute of Humanities, NCFU) noted:

– This project is a socially significant one, and we are grateful to the organizers who have invited us. This is another chance for us to see people who have found their right place in this life and who are truly committed to what they do.

And, of course, no student will succeed without guidance, which means the best professors got their well-deserved prizes – letters of thanks were given to Olga Lepilkina (Head of Dept for Journalism, NCFU) and Lilia Grigorova (Director, NGO Krysha, the organizer) for their immense effort aimed at promoting socially meaningful initiatives and devoted work contributing to raising younger generations.
