NCFU held a contest for school and university students among youngsters of Russia and Abkhazia. The project was part of the international cooperation, and went on for two months, during which a special contest committee worked to select the best – and the task must have been tough indeed.
The entire number of applications submitted exceeded 500, and each was unique – contestants offered new ways to develop fairy-tale plots based on the Russian and Abkhazian folklore, which, actually, was a message to be further delivered to future generations.

– These kids tried to maintain the basis values of their respective peoples. Many works stressed the importance of the national culture code, which is to be used as a resource for raising future generations so that they have due respect for their history and traditions, – Yulia Kravchenko (Junior Lecturer, Department for National & World Literature, NCFU) was quoted as saying.
As the event came to its end, the winners were announced at the closing ceremony, and awarded, while all the participants received their certificates.
Great job, folks!
