Engineering training programs have become the focus of the ENGINEERING EDUCATION IN DIGITAL SPACE conference held in Belarus, where NCFU is one of the organizers. The event brought together the world’s leading engineering experts and specialists representing the respective ministries from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Germany and other countries to discuss the issues related to digital modernization of society, economies and education, all of these being among the top relevant areas for development.
– Technological projects in digitization stir a lot of interest among our colleagues from the partner countries, and Belarus above all. Academic partnership here progresses towards joint research and degree programs, and I am sure that our collaboration will result in better Engineering training and closer cooperation between our countries, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.
The delegation representing NCFU in Belarus shared their extensive experience in many areas, including the introduction of project-based education and cooperation with the major local employers. All this allows attracting more youngsters seeking to pursue a degree in Engineering.
Another issue of interest was the software developed by NCFU experts aimed at automating various processes in universities and already being used in more than 400 Russian academic institutions.
NCFU is not new as a partner to universities of Belarus, with several agreements already signed and areas for cooperation identified, including Biotechnology, Economics and Social Work. Now, more projects are coming, such as joint research projects and double diploma programs.
