NCFU, jointly with Lebanese University is launching the Russian Arabic Language project thus offering advanced methodologies to facilitate language studies – Russian for students of Lebanon, and Arabic – for Russian students.

– I believe this innovation academic project will promote the progress in studying languages, namely – Russian and Arabic. Our plans are to bring together experts of the two countries thus aiming to introduce the best and the most advanced methodologies, in the end facilitating the integration between our two countries, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

Over 700 students and teachers of Lebanese University completed the Russian Language online program offered by NCFU, while the Lebanese party is planning to expand the programs offered to Russian students.

NCFU people, in turn, are happy to study Arabic, and June this year a summer camp will be launched for children seeking to study it.

September 1, 2023, NCFU is launching RUSSIA & MIDDLE EAST – HISTORICAL AND GEOPOLITICAL STUDIES – a Master’s Degree Program offered to those seeking to become experts competent in the two cultures and languages.

While holding a trip to Lebanon, Dmitry Bespalov held important meetings, including those with Bassad Badran (President, Lebanese University), Alexander Rudakov (Ambassador of Russia to Lebanon) and Alexander Sorokin (Head of Russian Education Agency in Lebanon) with numerous prospects for further cooperation discussed including research and technology transfer, academic mobility and joint projects.
