NCFU Among Grant Winners Again
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has announced the outcomes of the selection for the Priority-2030 programs, with the NCFU being among the 106 academic institutions to get the grant.
The program implies that up until 2030, the NCFU will complete 5 strategic projects and events aimed at updating the academic and research activities, as well as digitization, youth policy, human capital promotion and support for research among youngsters. This, in turn, will help train staff to be employed in areas that need more and more competent experts with advanced knowledge and skills to serve the driving force in the most relevant areas, namely chemical industry, tourism, agriculture, energy, etc.
– The value of the Priority-2030 federal program lies in its level of expertise. The universities could not just to submit their strategic development program for consideration, yet they brought along their teams to present the projects and even receive recommendations from leading experts representing the research and the Ministry of Education and Science, when it came to issues involving transformation and transition to a new level of education and research, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.
The Priority-2030 federal program for academic leadership is one of the largest in Russia’s history in terms of public support offered to universities.
