The Stavropol regional stage of the All-Russian military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0" has started in Pyatigorsk, where schoolchildren and students of universities and colleges undergo competitions and tests.

The regional stage of the All-Russian military-patriotic game "Zarnitsa 2.0", during which participants learn the skills of basic military training and behavior in an extreme situation, was organized in Stavropol by the Autonomous Non-governmental Organization "Youth Development Center of the Stavropol Territory "Regional Youth House" together with the regional Ministry of Youth Policy and the Stavropol branch of the All-Russian socio-state movement of Children and Youth "The movement of the first". On the first day of the competition, the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, noted that even in the most difficult times, "we maintained this necessary component of the patriotic education system."

NCFU's supporting university team, consisting of ten people, which was coached by specialists from the university's military training center, participates in competitive competitions.

–Such military-patriotic games as "Zarnitsa 2.0" develop a set of personal qualities necessary both for serving the Fatherland and for everyday life. In competitions, character is tempered, teamwork, skills such as stress tolerance, endurance, and the ability to overcome difficulties are formed. NCFU participates in such events in various formats, both by organizing them on its site and by participating in district and All–Russian training camps," said Oksana Kuznetsova, Vice Rector for Youth Policy at NCFU.

54 thousand participants took part in the qualifying stages, more than 11 thousand passed the municipal stages. And from May 25 to May 29, 2026, 220 of the best students of professional educational organizations will compete for the right to represent the region in the district stage, which will also be held in Stavropol at the end of July.

Participants compete in several team challenges. They will undergo fire and tactical training, demonstrate knowledge in first aid and the basics of Russian statehood and military history, pass a 3 km cross-country and strength standards, and also talk about radiation, chemical and biological protection.

Interactive exhibitions and cultural and educational events dedicated to the military history of Russia and the activities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will also be held for participants at various stages of the game.
