KRSU and NCFU Host Training for Russian Language Teachers
The Institute of the Russian Language (the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University) and the North-Caucasus Federal University held a cycle of three-day online seminars focusing on teaching the Russian language and literature at school: advanced approaches.
The event brought together over 90 teachers of Russian not just from schools and universities of the two organizing countries, yet also teachers from Kazakhstan.
– This Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation aimed at maintaining the Russian language is of enormous importance for the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, – Vladimir Nifadiev (Rector, KRSU) noted. = While exchanging experience, teachers not only enhance professional links yet also create a single academic space in Russian.
The training was delivered by experts of the Institute of Humanities (NCFU), while the entire event was concluded with a round-table discussion chaired by Leonid Sumarokov (Pro-Rector for Information & PR of KRSU) and Lyudmila Alieva (Head of Department for International Cooperation, NCFU).
