K-Labs: New Start
The North-Caucasus Federal University has launched the second season of the K-Labs program, which is aimed at shaping staff reserve from among students who have already made their contributions to the University’s progress.
This season over 100 applications, 67 of them advancing to undergo training within the following four fields:
- Lab for future experts;
- Lab for future university teachers;
- Lab for future researchers;
- Lab for leaders of the future.
– Opening another K-Labs season, the University is aiming at attracting even more talented students. This year we have cut the number of fields down to four to have our participants a better and more focused training. K-Labs will let each of them plunge into professional communities and get in touch with their potential employers to become finally experts that would enjoy demand in the labor market, – Azamat Luev (Pro-Rector for Youth Policy, NCFU) noted.
Through this season, the participants are to join various workshops, trainings, business games, case studies etc. Based on the outcomes, a new rating will be shaped, which will be based on both qualitative and quantitative indicators.
The previous K-Labs season was over last year, after the best participants were identified to get their awards and further support from the University. Most of them are now employed at the NCFU as well as at the partner-companies.
