For the first time, North Caucasus Federal University has become the venue for the final rounds of the Zvezda multidisciplinary engineering Olympiad in natural sciences, bringing together hundreds of school-age minds.

In the final round of the Olympiad, students from different regions solved science assignments and tried their hand at engineering problems in practice.

The Zvezda Olympiad is included in the list of school Olympiads of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. High results in it give students real advantages when applying to universities – from the maximum score in the subject to enrollment without exams.

– The holding of the Zvezda Olympiad at the site of the North Caucasus Federal University has become a significant event for us. For the university, such Olympiads are an opportunity to identify and support talented, motivated applicants, future engineers and scientists who will develop science and technology in our region and Russia," said Natalia Sharapova, Head of the Signal Staff Training and Development Bureau.

The Olympiad is traditionally held in several subjects and areas, including physics, mathematics, computer science, mechanical engineering, materials technology and other areas in demand in the engineering field.
