An NCFU student has won a prize at the International Finance Security Olympiad, which brought around about 500 schoolers and university students from 19 countries.

The Olympiad is an annual event supported by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, where the main aim is to enhance youngsters’ information, finance, and legal literacy.

One of the highlights was Talk as Peer-to-Peer – a plenary session where Vladimir Putin met the event finalists in person.

– This practice of international communication, academic cooperation and establishing partnership and friendship in a sphere like this is definitely of extremely huge importance, specifically now that finance security is getting more and more relevant year after year and takes joint effort from experts of the top level in the most diverse areas, – Russian President noted.

The NCFU representatives at the Olympiad were Aminat Aphudova, Olga Shishkina and Alina Schetinskaya (Academic Supervisor: Dr. Elvira Rusetskaya, Professor, Finance & Credit Department)

As the results were announced, Alina Schetinskaya was awarded a II Degree Diploma, which is a high level of recognition for both her and the Supervisor. Perfect job, folks! Congrats!
