Foreign Students Choose NCFU
This year NCFU granted admission to more than 380 foreign students coming to train under both Bachelor’s, Master’s and postgraduate’s degree programs.
The majority of foreign freshmen come from neighboring countries, namely Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. Besides, the largest University in the region got citizens from Angola, Cyprus, Egypt, Iraq, El Salvador and other countries. The freshmen have started the academic year on a remote basis, while those on their next years of training, who could not travel to Russia, go on training online. Students who remained in Stavropol for the entire lockdown period attend classes full-time.
Despite the epidemiology, the number of NCFU’s foreign students has remained stable since 2019, with people from 59 countries of all over the world pursuing their degrees here.
NCFU is involved in active cooperation with many international partners – over 100 universities and research centers. Besides, this year more Bachelor’s degree programs launched in English in areas like Oil and Gas Engineering, Construction Engineering, Information Security, and Technological Machines and Equipment – for those seeking their Master’s degrees; the admissions campaign this year will be held until end of October.
Apart from the above, NCFU is currently running 14 double degree programs, 9 of which have been launched this year, offering our students undergo training in various academic institutions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Italy and Germany.
