NCFU students have come out as winners in a project launched by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium. The Consortium is a company involved in transporting oil from the fields of West Kazakhstan and Russia, including those located in the Caspian Sea, and holds the PRESERVE YOUR NATURE project including a series of events for youngsters.
The main purpose of the project – as claimed by the organizers – is to enhance the environmental awareness among youngsters and shape their caring attitude towards nature.
Now, as the results were announced this year 2023, NCFU students came out as winners.

Ekaterina Vinogradova and Mukhammadrofe Mukhamedov (students majoring in Geography, Institute of Earth Sciences, NCFU) proved the best in two categories winning the “The Poacher is the enemy of nature” drawing contest and the “Photo Hunting is an exciting communication with nature” photo contest.
– I had no ready-made drawing for this topic, so found some inspiration on the Internet. And this gave me a fast idea of what I would like to reflect in my drawing – the fear and helplessness of animals in the hands of poachers, i.e., the image of a bird in a hand. The bird stands for the freedom of animals and all nature, while the human hands are restrictions taking the freedom away, – Ekaterina Vinogradova shared.
Great job, folks! Go ahead!
