Kirill Dolgopolov, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure at the North Caucasus Federal University, Doctor of Sociology, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, appreciated the results of the Governor Vladimir Vladimirovich's direct line the day before.

According to the expert, following the results of the communication between the head of the region and the residents, the key areas of work of the regional government for the near future have been identified – the most pressing issues of concern to Stavropol residents remain in the spotlight.

Among the main topics of citizens' appeals are fuel supply, the situation in the housing and communal services and tariffs, water supply problems, as well as major repairs of apartment buildings. As Kirill Dolgopolov noted, more than 4,000 tons of fuel are already being sent to the region, which will help stabilize the situation from the second half of September. As for utility tariffs, their increase will not amount to 22%, as previously stated, but about 15.8%; the new tariffs will take effect on October 1.

– All questions coming to the direct line are being worked out. The governor gives instructions, and the situation is gradually improving. A lot has been done, but there is still a lot to be done to improve the standard of living of Stavropol residents," Kirill Dolgopolov emphasized.

Special attention is paid to the problems of water supply in the village of Barsukovskaya and the village of Solnechnodolsk.: replacement of worn-out networks is planned there. In addition, instructions have been given to relevant ministries and heads of territories on all questions received about the overhaul of apartment buildings.

The expert also highlighted the governor's initiative to conduct grain interventions: the head of the region intends to seek additional support for agricultural producers so that grain prices cover the costs of farmers.
