An employee of the North Caucasus Federal University spoke at a meeting of the Expert Council at the Interregional Directorate of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs for the North Caucasus Federal District, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the draft methodological recommendations for public authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation and local governments on the implementation of tasks of the state national policy.

The meeting was attended by Roman Nutrikhin, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental, Land and Labor Law at the NCFU Law Institute.

The draft guidelines were developed as part of the implementation of the Strategy of State National Policy of the Russian Federation until 2036, approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 858. The document is aimed at improving approaches to the implementation of state national policy at the regional and municipal levels.

In his speech, Roman Nutrikhin noted the high level of preparation of the draft methodological recommendations and emphasized their practical significance for the authorities implementing state national policy in Crimea and the North Caucasus.

The expert also suggested to increase attention to the issues of interaction of public authorities with cultural institutions, in particular with libraries. In his opinion, they are an established network of social attraction and a space for citizens to consolidate around common values and meanings.

In addition, Roman Nutrikhin drew attention to the need for more active dissemination of scientifically reliable and meaningful examples of harmonious interethnic interaction from the history of Russia on social networks and messengers popular among young people.

The comments and suggestions of the participants will be taken into account by the Interregional Department of the Federal Agency for Nationalities when preparing the final version of the methodological recommendations.
