Teachers of the North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU) held educational and project sessions for researchers, graduate students and teachers of Abkhazian universities and colleges at the Abkhazian State University in Sukhum.

The events were attended by teachers of the NCFU Department of State, Municipal Management and Labor Economics, experts from the international research laboratory "Sustainable Development of Socio–Economic Systems" of the Institute of Economics and Management. In total, two training programs were presented: "Organizational and methodological aspects of clustering and sectoral development of territories" and "Lean Manufacturing", which was conducted under cooperation agreements between NCFU, the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia and the Abkhazian State University.

The training of scientific and pedagogical staff of the Republic of Abkhazia was carried out thanks to a subsidy from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation "Organizational and technical support for a set of measures in the field of youth policy, science and education in the Transcaucasian direction."

More than 30 listeners took part in the sessions. Following the results of the project sessions, researchers and graduate students of the Institute of Economics and Law of the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia, teachers of the Faculty of Economics of the Abkhazian State University and Sukhumi State College developed and defended group projects on optimizing administrative processes in scientific and educational organizations. The proposed solutions made it possible to halve the time needed to develop and coordinate regulatory legal acts, as well as to organize educational processes. In addition, the participants presented projects on the creation of industry clusters in the field of ethnotourism, processing of agricultural products and production of building materials in the Republic of Abkhazia.

The NCFU delegation also took part in the opening of the Abkhazian-Russian Cross Youth Forum, which was held at the site of the Abkhazian State University from October 16 to 18, 2026.
