As Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) noted, the NCFU is to act as the coordinating university.

– As soon as in the nearest future a Center for Russian Education is to be launched on the premises of the Samarkand State University, which has long been a reliable partner of ours. … The Center is to serve as a place for interaction and cooperation on a number of issues, and there have been activities planned, such as joint events, teaching staff exchange, and research projects. To coordinate all this, the NCFU will offer premises to open the International Russia-Uzbekistan Center, – Dmitry Bespalov was quoted as saying.

The NCFU has been rather active in terms of attracting prospective applicants seeking to pursue a Russian degree, with the priority on Maths and the Russian Language.

Besides, the NCFU held a Maths Week in Uzbekistan where the top experts of the North Caucasus could meet teachers, schoolers and researchers of Uzbekistan.
