NCFU held AnalyticUM – a business-analysis contest arranged jointly with the Infocom-S company.

AnalyticUM is a place where senior students can try their hand and employ the newly mastered knowledge and skills in business analysis as well as get to know more about the real job, while standing a chance to win valuable prizes. The purpose of the event is to offer students a chance to apply their knowledge in the area of IT for real business cases. This appears especially important since business analytics is one of the crucial elements in business nowadays, which involves all tools that may prove useful – from conventional data analysis to AI.

The contest held included three stages, where the competitors had to put their best feet forward and show the best of themselves in logic, leadership and much more. As for the finals – it was students of the Institute of Economics and of the Institute for Digital Development who advanced.

Others, however, got lots of good experience – both in business analysis and in data system design.

As Ivan Savin (winner) noted, this was not for the prize or money. The major pint was to find a job that would never make you feel bored. Isn’t this the best motivation to progress?
