NCFU has joined the charity campaign aimed at collecting New Year gifts for orphans, and everyone is welcome. The campaign is to go on until Dec 18, 2020.

We traditionally collect gifts for all those who can smile when they get one, and even this year, as the pandemic is full steam underway, we are still doing our best. All you need to do is bring a box of sweets to Room 306, Build. 1, Pushkina Street, Stavropol (NCFU).

The Students’ Council of NCFU was among the first ones to respond.

– We try to never miss charity events, – Alexandra Bashkatova (Chair, Student Council, NCFU) was quoted as saying. Even despite the pandemic we would like kids to enjoy the holiday. And the we will be thankful if others – both students and teachers – join us.

– Some of our students come from orphanages or from low-income families, – Inessa Grechman (Head, Center for Student Associations and Volunteer Movement Support, NCFU) noted. – They do know what it means to a child to feel they are needed, as well as to get love and warmth. And we can offer this to them! Doing something good does not take much – just one sweet gift can make a child in an orphanage smiling and happy indeed.
