Azamat Kumukov, a specialist in the NCFU Student Potential Development Department, became a guest of the Morning Show program on Russian Radio Stavropol region. On the air, he shared the results of the implementation of the University Shifts program in 2026.

This year, NCFU hosted five "University Shifts" for schoolchildren – the project has been implemented for the fifth year in a row, and the number of participants is growing every year. Over the summer, children from 25 regions of Russia gained new knowledge and vivid impressions.

The program was rich: in addition to educational lectures and creative workshops, students participated in sports games, mastered Caucasian dances, and also actively got acquainted with Stavropol. As part of the tourist component, the children visited a unique alpaca farm, a Botanical Garden, and also visited iconic historical museums and parks.

– We are not limited to career guidance: this year we relied on a combination of educational and tourist components, so the guys had a lot of trips. I would like to show students from 25 regions that the path of self-realization is broader than just participation in activities and competitions. Our task is to give them an idea of the work of a classical university and teach them how to work effectively in a team," Azamat Kumukov emphasized.

An important feature of the project remains the support of communication with students even after the end of the shifts: the students stay in touch with their mentors, continuing to receive advice and recommendations.
