NCFU held a day to introduce everyone to the beauty of the Arabic culture. The event was arranged by students from Middle East who were happy to share all they know, including a souvenir show to make it all more visible.
When Sevtlana Zenchenko (head of Office for International Education) opened the event, she noted that only joint work can make it a success, and all the teams involved did their best to help us learn more about the culture of Arabic countries.

– I am truly happy there is such a day – this is an important way to bring the Arabic and the Russian cultures closer. Lots of thanks are extended to NCFU for arranging this all on such a large scale, – Nabut Suheib (prep course students, NCFU) noted.
The whole event was lots of fun and diversity – from telling the audience about the most interesting Arabic traditions to staging Russian fairy-tales in Arabic and even playing the Russian KATYUSHA song using the oud – an old Arabic musical instrument much similar to the European lute.
The most important part is that events like this are not uncommon here at all since NCFU has got its own Global School of Languages – the first school of this type in South Russia, a place where anyone is welcome to study Arabic, Turkish and Chinese.
