An educational program has been launched at the "Summer University"

The NCFU Summer University has opened its doors to 50 Belarusian students participating in an international project of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. Within two weeks, they will be trained according to two unique educational programs of the university. The students will receive lectures, master classes, trainings and much more.

The Summer University project is being held this year for the first time. It brought together 675 students from Belarus. They will have to study at 12 universities in the country from Kaliningrad to the Far East. 50 students came to Stavropol for new knowledge. They have already started two weeks of training in two additional general education programs of the university.

The program of the "Summer University" is very rich. Classes are held from morning till evening. The facilitators tried to make the training as practice-oriented and useful as possible for each participant. Thus, students of the program "Digital Transformation – new economic opportunities" will study the impact of digitalization on the functioning of society, business, the competitive environment, monetary relations, economic security, the mechanism of state and municipal management and will be able to contribute to digital transformation.

Students study various forms, procedures and tools for detecting, alerting, evaluating and responding to cybercrime, investigation methods and technologies for preventing such attacks.

– Practical classes are held on the basis of the training laboratory for the investigation of computer crimes and incidents, - said the head of the program, head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Security of NCFU Fariza Tebueva. – Here, with the help of modern software and hardware systems, they detect digital traces left by cybercriminals, analyze their actions, assess the consequences of the attack. The knowledge is shared by teachers of computer security disciplines and invited experts-representatives of Infocom-S LLC, the North Caucasus Regional Center for Forensic Examination of the Russian Ministry of Justice. One of the speakers of the "Summer University" will be Alexander Malkevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Commission for the Development of the Information Community, Mass Media and Mass Communications of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, President of the Foundation for the Protection of National Values. He will tell students about the transformation of reality in the media and social networks in the era of fake news and new media, the impact of fakes and "digital blunders" on our online and offline life.

Belarusian students studying at NCFU are also waiting for classes on social design and the development of future competencies: system thinking, intellectual flexibility, project management, IT competence, etc. The managers also took care of the cultural and leisure program. Exciting excursions, quests and games are held for the students.
