The activists of the NCFU media Center brought another media victory to the university. Polina Redko and Arina Fedorova were recognized as the best at the V All-Russian intensive course "Summer School of Journalism" organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

The large-scale educational intensive "Summer School of Journalism", traditionally organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science for the regional platforms of the Student Media Center, brought together the most active and talented students from all over the country. This year, the School was held for the fifth time, and it brought together about 100 participants from 34 regional venues opened in different regions of Russia. To work effectively, the organizers divided them into 9 teams, each of which received its own unique challenge.

The participants developed the concept of a single heading for the social networks of the new SMC community, which is dedicated to the unity of the peoples of Russia. It was necessary not only to propose an original idea, but also to think over its practical implementation, presentation format and engaging content. So, Polina Redko and Arina Fedorova, together with their team, proposed the heading "So they say" for the official media resources of the SMC of the Ministry of Education and Science – the SMS | Student Media Community publications on the Vkontakte social network and in the Max messenger.

The NCFU activists' project is designed to introduce the audience to the cultural diversity of our country in an easy, accessible and fascinating way, as well as to show how people speak, think and live in different regions, thereby strengthening the all-Russian identity. According to the results of competitive tests, this development was recognized as the best. In September, the team will embark on a press tour to Kaliningrad.

This is the second such victory of our media team in the last two years at the Summer School of Journalism. Last year, NCFU media correspondent Konstantin Popov won first place for the best video and went on a press tour to Lake Baikal.
