And today we are travelling to Budapest, Hungary again, and the hero to accompany us is Juliana Sarkisyan (3^rd year student, Institute of Humanities, NCFU).

Last year Juliana won the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship to enjoy training at Hungary’s leading university Eötvös LorándUniversity (ELTE; major – English and American Studies).

– The Russian system of education is very much similar to that in Europe, yet there are some differences to mention, - Juliana was quoted as saying. – In Eötvös Loránd University most Bachelor’s courses go on for three years while students are free to chose the subjects they take special interest in. I studied Shakespeare’s works as well Syntax, Phonology, Lexicology, and Morphology of English. That was pretty tough but I managed to improve my English.

Juliana was renting an apartment downtown Budapest and the University compensated for her accommodations cost.

Apart from academic issues this trip was full of emotion – while studying in Hungary, Juliana travelled to Vienna, Berlin and Munich.

– Juts would like to say to everyone dreaming of this experience: don’t hesitate to move towards your dream and try something new, don’t wait for the time to be just right. This is now. Do it! Live it! – Juliana concluded.
