As part of efforts to consolidate the creative industries of the North Caucasus, create conditions for the growth of the creative sphere, as well as the creative self-realization of the population through modern educational formats, the School of Creative Industries was established at the North Caucasus Federal University in October 2021, and renamed the Higher School of Creative Industries (HSE) in 2023.
The purpose of the School is the formation and development of the creative community of the region, educational, research and socio-cultural activities in the field of creative industries in the North Caucasus.
Among the priorities of the HSE are the formation of a professional community — the country's talent reserve in the field of creative industries, as well as creating opportunities for youth development, including through specialized skills training, assistance in promoting creative projects developed in the North Caucasus Federal District at the macro-regional, federal and international levels, the creation and development of basic and additional educational programs related to implementation in the creative industries.
Currently, the HSE conducts educational and scientific activities in the following areas:
