Saverio Mannino - Professor of the University of Milan (Italy), PhD, international expert in food safety.

Participant of major research projects of the EU, World Bank, USAID, UN, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, that were implemented in Algeria, Albania, Azerbaijan, Belize, Cyprus, China, Colombia, Egypt, Haiti, Kazakhstan, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Somalia, Turkey, Jamaica and other countries.

Professor Mannino is one of the leading scientists and specialists of the EU in nanobiotechnology of functional food products, management, quality control and biological safety systems of food raw materials and products, the expert of ISEKI Food Association, which combines more than 120 universities and organizations that train specialists, Italian Accreditation Agency Board member, the author of many publications in high-rated industry-specific research journals.

As part of professor’s work at NCFU scientific studies are conducted on international innovative research project in the field of nanobiotechnology and biological safety of food products and biologically active substances at the facilities of the International research laboratory “Electrical and baromembrane technologies” of the Institute of Life Sciences.
