Procedure for arrival of international students into NCFU

Orders of the Government of the Russian Federation


For entering Russia

  1. Write a letter to join@ncfu.ru about readiness to enter the Russian Federation and the intended border crossing point.
  2. Receive a reply letter with confirmation of possibility and conditions of entry.
  3. After settling the conditions of entry, buy a ticket and send it to join@ncfu.ru.
  4. Prepare and take with you all the necessary documents, including medical:
  • a certificate of the absence of HIV infection (valid for 3 months from the date of examination),
  • medical certificate of health status, with the result of fluorographic examination,
  • prophylactic immunization card,
  • make copies of ALL the pages of the passport, including blank ones.
  1. Perform a COVID-19 test by PCR method not earlier than 3 calendar days before entering Russia.
  2. When crossing the border of the Russian Federation one must have a certificate of negative result COVID-19 PCR test, issued in Russian or in English.
  3. When crossing the border and filling in the immigration card specify “Study” as one’s “Purpose of entry”.

FOR STUDENTS OF THE 1ST AND 2ND COURSES, ENTERING THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION FOR THE FIRST TIME AND ARRIVING IN AN ORGANIZED AND COORDINATED MANNER, MEETINGS AND TRANSFERS FROM THE AIRPORTS OF STAVROPOL, MINERALNYE VODY, KRASNODAR, ROSTOV-ON-DON TO NCFU ARE PROVIDED

After arriving in Stavropol

FOR SELF-ARRIVING PEOPLE FROM “OPEN” COUNTRIES

  1. Notify the staff of the International Education Department of NCFU about your arrival by calling the hotline: + 7-968-267-62-19 (WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram).
  2. Check into a hostel / hotel.
  3. Take a re-analysis for COVID-19 by PCR method in a specially authorized medical organization:

(!!! the test can be taken at the airport, immediately after arrival in the Russian Federation, but only by the PCR method !!!)

  1. Comply with the self-isolation regime in the place of residence.
  2. After receiving a negative follow-up test result, report to the International Education Department of NCFU (Stavropol, 2 Kulakova av., hostel №8, rooms 213, 216) with all documents.
  3. Visit the Medical Center of NCFU (Stavropol, 2 Kulakova av., hostel №6) and submit medical documents:
  • certificate of negative result COVID-19 PCR test, issued in Russian or in English,
  • a certificate of the absence of HIV infection (valid for 3 months from the date of examination),
  • medical certificate of health status with the result of a fluorographic examination,
  • prophylactic immunization card.
  1. Purchase a health insurance card (approximate cost 6000 Rubles).

FOR PEOPLE ARRIVING IN A COORDINATED MANNER FROM ANY COUNTRY

  1. Settle in NCFU observation facility (Stavropol, 2 Kulakova av.)
  2. Visit the Medical Center of NCFU (Stavropol, 2 Kulakova av., hostel №6) and submit medical documents:
  • certificate of negative result COVID-19 PCR test, issued in Russian or in English,
  • a certificate of the absence of HIV infection (valid for 3 months from the date of examination),
  • medical certificate of health status with the result of a fluorographic examination,
  • prophylactic immunization card.
  1. Purchase a health insurance card (approximate cost 6000 Rubles).
  2. Get a referral for re-analysis for COVID-19 by PCR method and take the test at a specially authorized medical organization (approximate cost 1300 rubles).
  3. Comply with the self-isolation regime in the NCFU observation facility until a negative follow-up test result.
  4. Within the period of the self-isolation regime one must attend all classes online. For the current class schedule, see your personal account on the ecampus.ncfu.ru.

For settling in a hostel

  1. Visit the Department of Social Work (Stavropol, Kulakova ave., 2, dormitory No. 6, office 106):
  • make an advance payment for accommodation in a hostel at least 6 months in advance - 8000-12000 Rubles, including a security deposit - 1500 rubles,
  • conclude a contract and draw up other documents,
  • up-to-date information on the order of settling in the hostel and the necessary documents: https://www.ncfu.ru/for-students/obshchezhitiya/
  1. For processing the migration registration documents one must visit the Passport and Visas Department (Stavropol, 2 Kulakova av., hostel №8, room 316), submit the following documents:
  • passport
  • immigration card
  • copies of ALL the pages in passport, including blank ones.
  1. Visit the International Education Department and prepare documents for study (Stavropol, 2 Kulakova av., hostel №8, rooms 213, 216).
  2. Settle in a hostel and start the studies offline.
