Students of the Humanities Institute of the North Caucasus Federal University Victoria Artyukhova and Vyacheslav Bykov became the winners of the international essay contest 2021 entitled "The architecture of European security and the prospects for its formation in the context of Russia-NATO-EU relations".
In total, 56 works of students and postgraduates, young specialists with an interest in international politics and security policy from different cities of Russia and neighboring countries took part in the competition. Participants were required to submit an independent analytical work or an essay on the proposed topic.
The winners of the competition were 20 works, including the works of students
of the North Caucasus Federal University studying in the specialty "International Relations". Their scientific supervisor is Associate Professor of the Department
of Foreign History, Political Science and International Relations of NCFU Valentina Sadchenko.
Now the winners of the competition will receive the appropriate certificates and will be invited to participate in the final conference on European security
– This is the first time I participated in a competition of this scale and I am pleasantly surprised that I was able to win it. My essay is devoted to relations in the Russia – NATO – EU triangle and the prospects for their development. I am very glad that now I will be able to participate in the winners 'forum –" said the winner of the competition, a student of NCFU Vyacheslav Bykov.
The competition is organized by the Association for European Studies (AEVIS), the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the Volgograd Center for International Humanitarian Cooperation.
