– Today, the world is facing a severe shortage of IT experts, so our major goal as a University is to offer professional training meeting the current demands in the sphere of information technology progress. This Master’s degree program has a special feature – it employs system analysis methodology, mathematical simulation, data analysis algorithms, as well as using these methods for research, development and operation of robotic systems. We believe that our cooperation with Microsoft will allow our graduates to get the knowledge they need to manage advanced technologies, – Oksana Mezentseva (Head of Master’s degree program, Assistant Pro-Rector) noted.
– Advanced technologies have come to be not just part of our work yet they have become part of our daily life. This explains why not technical colleges yet higher academic institutions, too, launch various degree programs. And innovation has affected and enhanced the current demand for the skills that graduates have to possess now, and we are happy to see Russian universities following international trends. This opens newer opportunities to promote research activities, while expanding cooperation with the leading universities has turned a major part within the academic initiatives, which Microsoft is launching in Russia now, – Elena Slivko-Kolchik (Head of the Department for Cooperation with Academic & Research Organizations, Microsoft, Russia) noted when offering her comment.
