NCFU Volunteers’ Contribution Never Goes Unnoticed

NCFU has been awarded a special memorial medal “For the selfless contribution to the organization of the Russian National mutual assistance event” (We are Together / #МыВместе), which has been supported by President Vladimir Putin to award the most active participants.

The campaign We are Together, which has become a symbol of selfless support was launched on March 21, the organizers being the platform, the All-Russia People’s Front as well as a number of volunteer organizations, and is aimed at offering support to the elderly and weak people and medical officers through the pandemic. 200 of NCFU people joined the 185,000 volunteers working their good all over Russia. While suffering through the lockdown period, the volunteers yet managed to find ways to deliver food and medicines to elderly people, help others master digital skills, taught foreign languages online and assisted NCFU’s medical center employees in every way possible, and the list of what they have been doing is to long to mention everything here, and the work is still going on.

– We are happy indeed that our volunteers’ effort has been recognized, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying. – Our volunteers are always ready to be wherever they are needed the most, and this is where NCFU Administration is always ready to offer them any support they may need.
