NCFU Signs Agreement with University of Primorska (Slovenia)
Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) and Klavdija Kutnar (Rector, University of Primorska, Slovenia) have signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement is to frame joint activities that are to be launched between the Institute of Earth Sciences and the Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica.
– Late last year I visited the University of Primorska and we discussed our future plans, – Mr. Bespalov was quoted as saying. – Since then, students of NCFU have completed two degree papers supervised by professors from the Slovenian partner institution, and now, in 2020, given the support we enjoyed from the University of Primorska, three scholarships have been obtained within the special Russia – Slovenia cooperation program for academic mobility. As part of the agreement, we are going to establish an international joint research laboratory focusing on Tourism studies, so we are really looking forward to fruitful cooperation.
In her speech, Klavdija Kutnar stressed that the agreement in question would promote progress and interaction between the two research schools.
NCFU has been involved in numerous research projects on the global arena, with over 100 Universities, research and training centers acting as our partners all over the world.
