NCFU hosted the Regional school for young journalists, where the leading experts and lecturers of NCFU told schoolers about specifics of working in the media.
The event was arranged for high school students from all over the North Caucasus, and even though the event had traditionally been held face-to-face, this time it was online (due to the current COVID-19 pandemic).
– The online mode of work allowed children from other areas to join the training, – Irina Apolonova (Head of School; Department of Journalism; Institute of Humanities) was quoted as saying. – Such events help applicants make up their mind concerning their future job since it is practical classes that contribute to effective career guidance for schoolchildren.
The training itself was more than diverse – lectures, master classes and seminars. The students learned about the specific features of multimedia travel projects, got to know video content creation technologies, as well as learned how to write news and work in social networks.
Upon completion of the training course, all the participants were awarded their certificates.
