NCFU hosted the YOUTH INNOVATION-BASED IDEAS FOR PROGRESS OF RUSSIA conference, which also included the regional stage of the young researchers’ contest U.M.N.I.K., which brought together 94 students from the region’s universities, 41 of them representing NCFU. The contestants presented their developments in most diverse areas including Chemistry, Digital Technologies, Medicine, Biotechnology, Energy-Saving, etc. The event was held online, while the Jury was working offline.
– Our youngsters join this contest on a regular basis, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying. – And over 60 of them have been winners through the last five years. Many of them go on to establish technological businesses, and for this purpose we have created a business incubator, a technopark, and many other projects aimed at offering such talented people every support they may need. I am happy to wish everyone a lot of fruitful work and success. I am sure everyone’s project will be a success.
The winners of the regional stage will advance to the finals where the best ones will be awarded a prize of RUR 500 K to launch their development.
