North-Caucasus Federal University has signed an agreement with Samarkand State University, which implies joint degree programs awarding two diplomas. The document was signed by the Dmitry Bespalov (Acting Rector, NCFU) and Rustam Khalmuradov (Rector, SamSU).
The list of the programs available for a joint degree includes the following Master’s – Geography, Economics, Personnel Management, Russian Language, Russian Literature, where the training is to be held for two years – one semester in Uzbekistan and another 18 months – in NCFU.
Those who complete the training successfully will be awarded two diplomas – one from each of the partner-universities.
– We are planning to expand the range of available programs, – Lyudmila Alieva (Head of Department for International Cooperation) was quoted as saying. – WE are now talking about Corporate Finance and Information Technologies degree programs.
NCFU has been running double degrees since 2014 and the portfolio already includes respective agreements with the University of La Sapienza of Rome (Italy) and Technical University of Dresden (Germany), with the nearest plans aiming to enter an agreement with Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute (Uzbekistan).
