The result of fruitful activity was the successful defense of the final senior thesis of masters and the praise from Steffen Hölldobler.
– Our students have a unique opportunity to study in programs with the possibility of obtaining two diplomas from the North Caucasus Federal University and the Technical University of Dresden. This is a chance to build individual educational trajectories, study with leading professors in Europe, communicate with students from different countries, be mobile and travel. This is a great start to further career and development for young people – said Oksana Mezentseva, Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of NCFU.
Also, within the framework of the professor's visit, a meeting was held with students of the university. Steffen Hölldobler told the students about the possibilities of studying abroad, about the peculiarities of spending time during the holidays in different countries and answered the questions of the participants of the meeting.
– Such meetings allow us to further maintain communication with both the professor and students of European universities. The development of contacts is very important in the modern world – Maria Lapina, Deputy Director for International Activities at IMIT, shared her impressions of the meeting.
For many years, the North Caucasus Federal University has been cooperating with leading universities in Europe, including the Dresden Technical University. Currently, with the support of the DAAD scholarship fund, three more NCFU students are studying at the Technical University of Dresden, and soon each of them will be able to become the owner of two diplomas at once.
