NCFU Promoting Social Entrepreneurship

Date of material placement: 28-04-2018, 14:58.

North-Caucasus Federal University hosted the two-day seminar on social entrepreneurship ZGI:Kompakt.

Social entrepreneurship is a specific type of activity, which is a common area for both charity and business. This, above all, is aimed at resolving social, cultural or environmental issues through the development, funding, and implementation of innovation-based solutions. Conventional business people strive to maximize their revenues and profit while social entrepreneurs think about the social impact first.

ZGI:Kompakt is a development by the Munich Academy for social entrepreneurship, which is designed to train students and teachers to use innovative solutions to resolve the contemporary challenges. The Academy has been in cooperation with the Institute of economics and Management as well as with the Institute of Education and Social Science since 2013.

The workshop was delivered by Dominik Domnik and Marit Brademann (Germany).
