NCFU Wins 8 Awards at a Design Contest

Students of the Institute for Humanities (NCFU) have become winners at the VIII International Contest for Young Designers MINGI-TAU held in Karachaei-Circassia where they presented their works in 3 nominations winning more than a third of all the prizes.

The North Caucasus Federal University has been joining the contest for three years now with inevitably high results, and this year was no exception. Among the prize-winners were students majoring in design (Bachelor’s course) – Maria Dolgova – 1st place in the nomination Composition; Irina Milayeva – 3rd place in the nomination Composition and 3rd place in the nomination Painting; Victoria Breslavskaya – 3rdplace in the nomination Painting; Master’s students Roman Vasilevsky and Maria Reneeva were awarded 3 places in the nomination Composition. In the category Profi and the nomination Exterior, Landscape, Irina Podsvirava was the winner.

The contest brought together 600 young designers from 36 regions of Russia and 11 countries of the world – Austria, India, America, China, France, Vietnam and others with an international jury selecting the winners.
