Bender Gunther and Dalamba Tando, representatives of the South African Embassy in Russia, paid a visit to NCFU to learn more about the life that their students are enjoying here.

Nowadays, NCFU is offering training to 24 students from the South African Republic.

During a meeting held with Valentin Shipulin (Pro-Rector for Academic activities, NCFU), the high guests discussed wider opportunities for more South African students to come to pursue their degrees in NCFU, as well as potential academic exchange to increase the academic mobility for both Russian and African students.

Besides, the guests were also offered a tour around two of NCFU’s Institutes – Institute for Electric Power Engineering, Electronics & Nanotechnologies and Institutes for Construction, Transport and Engineering, both getting to know the facilities and visiting laboratories and having some fun as they attended the students contest STUDENT SPRING.

A meeting with South African students was a good one where the students told the visitors that they have no issues with their studies and are enjoying life in Russia.
