Mikhail Babenko, Assistant Professor (Dept for Applied mathematics & Mathematical Simulation) had one of his works selected among the top best works.

The researcher focused on algorithms for devices using modular arithmetic, which may help simple things to be equipped with certain devices thus making those easier to use and joining them into a single network. The idea is aimed at helping people in their routine life, one of the examples being the so-called SMART HOME where all the appliances and electronic devices require minimum involvement from human beings. The approach outlined by the NCFU scientist allows more efficient functioning due to the employment of newer advances in modular arithmetic, which, for many years now, has been the point of study at the scientific school of Neuro-Mathematics, Modular Neuro-Computers & High-Productivity Calculations (Head of School – Prof. Nicolay Chervyakov).
