NCFU Students in Super-finals of International Mathematics Contest

The Ariel University, Israel, hosted the Super-finals of the Open International Mathematics Inernet-Olympiad with 69 students of Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan competing.

NCFU was represented by Bogdan Ter-Sarkisov (4th year, Institute of Information Technologies and Telecommunications), and Mikhail Gurchinsky (4th year, Institute of Electric Power Engineering, Electronics and Nano-technologies). Besides, Tatyana Grobova (Deputy Director, Institute of Information Technologies and Telecommunications) was invited as a member of Jury.

The contest went on for two days involving both individual and team stages. Finally, Mikhail Gurchinsky was awarded a 2nd Place Diploma for individual result, while the Russian team SOUTH including students of NCFU, Volgograd, and Kazan, was the 7th thus entering the top 10 teams of the world.
