NCFU Scientists Win Two High Awards

Scientists of Institute for Life Science joined the International Conference INNOVATION IN INTENSIFICATION OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS PROCESSING held at Volgograd State Technical University and organized by Povolzhsky Research Institute for Meat and Dairy Products.

The Conference focused on numerous issues related to agricultural production and newer technologies. Besides, the Conference hosted the contest Best Foods, Foodstuffs, and Innovation with over 30 companies and universities of Russia. NCFU was represented by Natalia Oboturova (Associate Professor, Dept for Meat Processing and Canning), Kristina Khitrova (Postgraduate student), and Alexander Bogorovsky (4th year student). Our experts presented a new technology for sausage production, which earned them gold – Medal for Innovation in New Generation Technologies for Meat and Dairy Products.

Another medal came for research in the area of newer technologies in whey nanocluster (winners – Andrey Khramtsov, Ivan Evdokimov, Svetlana Ryabtseva, Alexey Lodygin).
