Expert Commission at NCFU

An Expert Commission has arrived at North-Caucasus Federal University to carry out what is known as Public Accreditation. This time the focus of the Commission (representatives of Russia, Serbia, Romania, and Kazakhstan) is on two educational programmes – Physics (011200.62; 011200.68; Institute of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) and Foods of Animal Origin (260200.62; 260200.68; Institute of Life Science).

When opening the meeting, Dmitry Sumskoy (First-Pro-Rector) noted that the University is conducting a review of the training programmes in order to bring them closer to the employers’ demand. As of today, NCFU has signed over 2,000 agreements with employers, some of them being strategic partners (e.g. JSC Resorts of North Caucasus, Dairy Plant STAVROPOLSKY, etc.).

Galina Bakumenko (Head of the Experts Office, national Centre for Public Accreditation, Russia) delivered a detailed speech telling the audience about the purpose and the entire procedure of the accreditation, after which the experts gotto know the respective curricula and other papers, as well as also held several meetings with teachers, Administration, graduates, and employers.
