Students of NCFU came back from the Young Leaders’ Forum YouLead-2014 held in Moscow. This an annual event eagerly attended by hundreds of young people all over Russia. This year’s Forum was held at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS while the major organizer was the international youth NGO AIESEC.

Institute of Economics & Management hosted a meeting where students of the Institute could talk with MariaParlinska, Associate professor WULS-SGGW, Dr hab. Head of Department of Agricultural Economics and International Economic Relations. The event was focused on international cooperation in education.

Yaroslav Golubovsky (2ndyear, major: Translation Studies) has won the II Open Olympiad in English TRAINYOURBRAIN! held by Centre for career and studies abroad TravelWorks, the British Council, the Association of British Schools and the Language Centre Shane Global (London, GB).

An Expert Commission has arrived at North-Caucasus Federal University to carry out what is known as Public Accreditation. This time the focus of the Commission (representatives of Russia, Serbia, Romania, and Kazakhstan) is on two educational programmes – Physics (011200.62; 011200.68; Institute of Mathematics and Natural Sciences) and Foods of Animal Origin (260200.62; 260200.68; Institute of Life Science).

North-Caucasus Federal University (Institute of Life Science) hosted a meeting with representative of the French company Danone. Ivan Evdokimov (Pro-Rector for Scientific Affairs) introduced the visitors into the history of our University also dwelling on the activities carried out at Institute of Life Science.

North-Caucasus Federal University was awarded a high prize at the 10th QS-APPLE Conference(Quacquarelli Symonds Asia Pacific Professional Leaders in Education Conference), which was held in Taipei (Taiwan). This event brought together representatives of 167 academic institutions of 40 countries from Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and North America.

North-Caucasus Federal University has signed a cooperation agreement with the International Slavic Institute Gavrila Romanovich Derzhavin (Bitola, Macedonia).
