The NCFU postgraduate Maria Trofimova (Department of History) and Master student Magomed Magomedov (Faculty of History, Philosophy, and Arts) are the winners in the contest for young researchers in the project Dialogue & education above Barriers. The aim of the project is to detect promising scientific ideas contributing to the development and enforcement of international relationships. The project is held in Russia and is supported by the Norwegian Government. The works submitted by the young scientists were considered the most relevant for the entire region and the North Caucasus. Maria chose to study the life of women during the Chechen wars while Magomed decided to focus on the measures to prevent extremism among the youth.

The first seminar was held in Moscow, and now the participants are working on their papers to deliver speeches at the 2nd seminar to be held in Oslo, Norway.
