Date of material placement: 2-04-2014, 18:22.

The North-Caucasus Federal University had a prompt response to the statement released by Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev who said that the school graduates of Crimea could join the Russian Universities with no Single State Examination.

The NCFU Rector Alina Levitskaya and the First Pro-Rector Dmitry Sumskoy have already held negotiations with the Universities of Crimea and expressed their ideas on launching cooperation with the educational authorities in the Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol.

When taking exams to join the NCFU the graduates from Crimea will have to take written or other type of tests, as the Ministry of Education may see it fit, and the NCFU is now designing special entrance test programmes for the applicants to come from Crimea. Those who get enrollment shall be offered dormitories.

Besides, the NCFU is willing to accept students of Crimea who are already studying in Ukraine yet would like to continue their training in Russia, and we believe that these guys will feel quite at home in the large NCFU family.
