Date of material placement: 21-01-2014, 18:25.

The NCFU has selected those to compete for Vladimir Potanin’s Charity Foundation Scholarship. All of them are our students studying for their Master’s degree (47 person), which is another condition within this Scholarship Programme aiming at offering support to active students. In the end of January 46 of the students will go to Rostov-on-Don to join the final stage of the contest while one more student will represent the University in Moscow (he was invited there as the winner of another contest).

The NCFU team as well as 60 students from the Southern Federal University and several more universities will join the so-called Business Game in Rostov-on-Don (Jan 29) to compete with other talented and active students.

As the official website Vladimir Potanin’s Charity Foundation says the total number of participants in the Second Round is 1856, all of them divided into 18 groups and seven cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, and Vladivostok. The round will be over on February 11, 2014 with the results to come out in a fortnight.

Based on the results 300 Russian students will be granted a monthly pay of 15 thousand RUR until they graduate their Master studies.

As Tatiana Kotlo (Head of Department for Student Monitoring Coordination) said this contest may help students find their path in life. The first Stage, which implied writing an essay, the students could demonstrate their theoretical knowledge while the Business Game will help them open up as leaders and team members.
