I Forum of Young Journalists and Bloggers of the Southern Part of Russia "Media Format continued its work at North-Caucasus Federal University.

The second day of the forum opened with the lecture of the correspondent of Department for Science of magazine "The Russian Reporter Alexey Torgashev. Using the example of the magazine Alexey, who has 16-year experience in journalism ("The Ogonek magazine, "The Izvestiya newspaper, "The Literature Newspaper and other editions), told how an edition of modern mass media works. The meeting had a form of a lively dialogue. Students asked a lot of questions: "Is there is a censorship in print media?, "Why do more men work in this sphere?, "Is there a personnel problem in scientific editions?, "Do any employees without journalistic education work for "The Russian Reporter? The last question attracted particular interest of the audience. It turned out that Alexey Torgashev studied at Moscow State University on "Molecular biology speciality and a lot of his colleagues were "self-educated journalists too. He also advised young journalists not to work in one and the same edition all the time, but try oneself for different mass media, change several specialities and spheres.

Then the forum continued its work in four sections: "Journalism, "Blogosphere, "PR technologies and promotion in social networks and "Photo reportage. F1 News.ru accredited photographer Andrei Zhukov shared secrets of commercially successful photographer with young journalists. Columnist of "The Metro newspaper, "Russian Booker prize winner Elena Kolyadina told the participants of "Journalism section how to become successful in print mass media. "I like the motto of paratroopers very much: "Win yourself and you will win the world!. Fortune loves brave people, fortune loves bold people! Dont give way to your hang-ups. Dont be afraid of anything. If you didnt manage to obtain a position in one edition, try to do it in another one. You will manage to do it!, - the journalist said.

Other, very interesting lectures, trainings and master classes also were held at the Forum: "Social network of a new format: how to become a popular user of Instagram by the Director of "TwitterMedia agency Alexander Karimov, "How to create uniform media space at the level of a region? Journalism as a mean to resolve conflicts. by the teacher of Higher School of Economics, the curator of the international AEGEE-Moscow programmes Nikolai Kazantsev, "Blogosphere as a new type of independent mass media by the Head of Department for External Relations of ChTRC "Grozny, LJ ambassador in Grozny Zaur Tsitsayev. Special interest was attracted by the speech of the Chief Researcher of Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Chumikov "PR in new media and space of the Internet communications.

Students of each section gained a lot of impressions. "Communication with journalists was positive. Ive known a lot of useful things. I am glad that we had not only theory, but we were focused on practice. It is also important that communication was in understandable language: there were no terms and turns of speech difficult for understanding. Journalists gave many examples from their lives, shared secrets of professional skills. I liked master classes by Alexander Chumikov, Alexey Torgashev and Razhap Musayev very much, fourth-year student of Faculty of Journalism of Chechen State University Zezag Khamzatova emphasized.

"Id like to thank the organizers for such interesting programme. I take part in "Photo reportage section. Yesterday we were given creative tasks and we started to do those tasks at once. I am very glad that I was able to get some practical pieces of advice from such professional photographer. I am going to work on this speciality, third-year student of Faculty of Philology and Journalism of Southern Federal University Alexandra Kopacheva shared her impressions.

"We are proud that such significant and great event takes place at North-Caucasus Federal University. Certainly, such forums are very popular and useful for those active young people who want to develop, learn something new in their occupations. We liked the forum very much. I and my groupmates put down contact information of the speakers and we hope for further cooperation. fourth-year student of Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Cross-Cultural Communication of Institute of Humanities Kirill Ulezko noted.

The Dean of Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Cross-Cultural Communication of Institute of Humanities on NCFU Sergei Gusarenko visited the closing ceremony of the forum to congratulate the participants on fruitful work:

- I am very glad that this event is held at our university. If professionals of such level work with you, you will keep it in your mind and soul. I hope it will contribute to your professional growth and the forum will be a good tradition for all of us!

The Chairman of Committee of Stavropol Region on Mass Communications Igor Voronin spoke to the students:

- Your profession will be difficult. A journalist shall be honest, first of all, with himself, patient and be able to accept another point of view. I wish you be full of strength! I wish you good luck and success!

For two days students were trying to be active as much as possible. They were acquiring new knowledge and skills. The best projects to create uniform youth media space of the southern part of Russia will be recommended for selection at the All-Russian Youth Forum "Seliger-2013, the All-Caucasus Youth Forum "Mashuk-2013. The most talented prospective "wordsmiths will be able to get recommendation of the organizers of the event to undertake an internship in federal mass media.
